For our inaugural production, the CARDINAL team brought Andrew Lippa’s (then) new musical to the grand Fitzgerald Theatre in the Twin Cities. Once graced by variety stars, the theatre was the perfect backdrop for this Jazz-age show with an edge. We added a touch of cinematic flair with a 22-foot turntable and a giant looming ‘Vaudeville’ sign that hung over the stage. Our cast set the stage ablaze with "EYE-POPPING, EXACTING CHOREOGRAPHY" (Star Tribune) with “TERRIFIC, WEL-SUNG!” (Pioneer Press) talent.  It remains one of our all-time favorites.
